General Workshop Information

Workshops at Stone Creek Studio run from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Scheduled workshops are listed, along with their costs, on the Workshops page.

  • If the course starts more than four weeks from the date of booking then the non-refundable deposit is due then – select DEPOSIT
  • the balance is due four weeks before the start of the course – select PAY BALANCE
  • If the course starts within four weeks of the date of booking then the full cost is due then – select PAYMENT IN FULL

This includes tuition and all the materials for the workshop, unless otherwise specified. For some workshops you will be asked to bring your own fabrics but more will usually be available for purchase if required.

If you’d like to come for individual tuition or a custom course, the charge is £220 per day if you come on your own or £110 per person per day for two or more students. Payment for custom days is due six weeks before the start of the course.

If you’d like to book any of the workshops you can either book and pay online, paying by debit/credit card or PayPal account, or you can send a cheque or pay by bank transfer.  A short list of equipment/materials to bring (if possible) will be sent out a couple of weeks before the workshop.

Tea, coffee and biscuits, as desired, are provided. A light lunch of the quiche and salad/jacket potato/soup and a roll type is included in the price of the workshop. If you have any food dislikes/allergies/intolerances please let me know. I can cater for most requirements if I know in good time.

The cost DOESN’T include accommodation. There are excellent bed and breakfast places near here. Or, there is a small hotel if you don’t mind travelling a little further, or a full range of accommodation in Hull, which is approximately 15 miles away.

Some courses are deliciously messy so it would be wise to bring some protective clothing or wear old clothes. Comfortable feet are always a good idea as most courses require some standing.

If you cancel your booking within four weeks of the workshop then full payment will still be due unless I can fill the place (which I often can if I have enough time). If I have to cancel a workshop then a full refund will be made.

When you arrive please park well on to the grass verge on either side of the lane, rather than coming into the yard, so that traffic to the Boat Club has good access to the barrier, which is their entrance. The verges do not get soft when wet.
